"Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you? Unless indeed you fail to meet the test! For we cannot do anything against the truth but only for the truth" 2 Corinthians 13:5-8
I am annoyed. I am annoyed because for some reason it is so easy to settle into the mediocrity of comfortable Christianity. I am loved by God but this world offers so many sparkling distractions. So in one hand I hold God and in the other I hold "innocent" treasures. What if I can have only one? What if I had to choose?
"No servant can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other." Luke 16:13
I will not settle for mediocrity. I refuse.
